Get your own @facebook.com email address

Facebook announced yesterday their new messaging system.  This is not email, it is more like a conversation style platform where you get all your chats in one place whether they be via SMS, chat, email or Messages.  However you can get your very own personal @facebook.com email address.  If you have a Facebook account you can request one by following these steps:

• visit the following link - http://www.facebook.com/about/messages/
• login to your Facebook account at the top
• click on "Request an invitation"

Your email address will be the same as your public username, for example:

Profile: facebook.com/username
Email: username@facebook.com
