Milestones and New Developments in the TWB team

We’ve reached the last working day of the month and despite the holiday season, July has proved to be a particularly busy month for the team at The Web Bureau, both in the design studio and beyond!

As a web design and web development agency, the milestones and new developments we normally refer to are reaching that ‘go live’ date for the launch of a new website or completing development of a new web based feature, but this month there have been some milestones and developments of a different kind in the personal lives of a number of our team - marriage, a new baby and a birthday!

After months of chat about ‘the big event’ and all the usual ball and chain jokes, the big day - Thursday 14th July finally arrived for our Senior Developer, Nial McShane.  After months of salads and pasta lunches, Nial managed to squeeze into his suit and make it up the aisle and we headed off to the Killyhevlin Hotel in Enniskillen to join with Nial & his new wife Maeve in a good night out to celebrate their marriage.

As Nial headed off on his honeymoon to relax, I had only a short time to recover before the next event, my entry to the 30’s club on 17th July, celebrated in style with a fancy dress party...some say it’s all downhill from now on and others tell me, it’s just the beginning.  Time will tell! 

Another much talked about event over lunchtimes at The Web Bureau was the impending birth of our Business Development Manager, Gavin McKechnie’s first child.  The speculation about whether it would be a boy or a girl ended yesterday with the arrival of little George Cameron McKechnie who weighed in at 7lb 11oz.  Both Mum Gail and baby George are doing well. Gavin has described the event as ‘the best day ever’.

The team at TWB would like to say ‘Congratulations and Best Wishes for the future’ to Nial and Maeve and Gavin and Gail.  Let’s hope August proves to be a bit quieter for us all!
