Twitter magic was well and truly sprinkled at Crumlin Road Goal yesterday.
On what has been recorded as the hottest day of the year, our Digital Training Manager Dean Langasco welcomed attendees to the ‘Twitter for Business’ workshop that was led by ‘Tweeting Goddess’ Samantha Kelly.
Samantha, founder of Social Media Summit Ireland, kicked off the interactive workshop by looking at each of the attendee’s personal or business Twitter accounts, to advise on how they could maximise their Twitter activity, in line with their business strategy. This was a great way for the group to participate and feed ideas across the table to help each other out.
Samantha went on to share some entertaining Twitter experiences and provided firsthand demonstrations on how to effectively make use of some key Twitter functionality such as polls, lists and live video. She also covered strategies for building followers organically, increasing engagement and how to make the most of relevant hashtags to stay ahead of the competition.
The Web Bureau team would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who came along and we hope you took away some useful insights. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any unanswered Twitter questions, we’d be more than happy to help!
Once again, thank you to Samantha Kelly for taking the time to travel up from Wexford to be a part of our training workshop.
